Temporary tattoos bring awareness & action to cause campaigns
March 5th, 2013
This Sunday, St. Patrick’s Day will “Go Pink” in Tucson as the City’s 15th Anniversary Susan G Komen Race for the Cure winds its way through the University of Arizona campus. Most of the participants will be wearing pink ribbon temporary tattoos as a way to honor and bring awareness to the more than 230,000 women in the U.S. who will battle breast cancer this year.
However, as the Internet brings awareness to more and more campaigns causes, it becomes hard to keep track of what each color ribbon represents.

Personalize your Cause Temporary Tattoo
While temporary tattoo ribbons are a great way to demonstrate support and encourage awareness, there is something to be said for more personalized messaging.
Last week, Des Moines University kicked of its first St. Baldrick’s Day fundraiser, an event where participants shave their heads to raise funds for childhood cancer research. The students at DMU created specialized tattoos, featuring St. Baldrick, so participants could visually declare the reason for their freshly-shaved heads.
