QR Code temporary tattoos: yes, they actually work!
June 21st, 2012
Our love of QR code temporary tattoos isn’t a new thing. We included the QR code trend in our 2011 Year in Review, and we loved seeing bands using QR Code Temporary Tattoos this year at SXSW.
Today, we’re featuring a small business that has jumped on the QR code tattoo train – Hornet Designs, a graphic design/marketing firm in Boynton Beach, FL.
We asked Hornet Designs president Gabrielle Horner to fill us in on her newest promotional tool.
Gabrielle told us: “I was just looking for a neat way to promote my new business. T-shirts are getting to be old-hat, although I love them, and they are traditional and a great advertising tool, they are just so…average.
I really wanted a clever way to advertise my business, that was unique and also cost effective. Originally I went into the idea thinking ‘even if the codes don’t work, they will still look awesome.’ But I was pleasantly surprised to find out that QR code temporary tattoos are not only awesome, but functional! We’ve been testing them every day ever since applying them, and 6 days later – they still work (in great lighting). That is just amazing. These are super high quality and I couldn’t be happier. I expect an influx of QR Code Tattoo Orders and I will only be trusting my tattoo printing to TattooSales.com!”
Thanks, Gabrielle!
