This Friday, March 11th, Filene’s Basement of Boston, MA, will host their annual “Running of the Brides” sale extravaganza! Brides on the east coast will be lacing up their tennis shoes and pulling their hair back into scrunches for the chance to buy high-end wedding dresses for as little as $249.
The event features thousands of wedding dresses, originally retailing for as much as $10,000, priced from $249 to $699. Bargain-hunting brides from around the world start lining up hours before the doors open at 8 a.m.
But the brides will take home more than just a discounted gown. The shop is giving each bride her own “I survived the Running of the Brides” tee shirt and “I survived” temporary tattoo to commemorate the experience.
This is yet another great example of how temporary tattoos can be used to add value and fun to any event! Custom temporary tattoos make great wedding gifts, bridal shower favors and are a must-have at bachelorette parties. Best of luck, brides; we hope you find your dream gown and enjoy your temporary tattoo.
